George Provopoulos has extensive experience in the banking sector both in Greece and abroad, but also an academic career as an Associate Professor at the University of Athens, Department of Economics (1979-2007).
During his tenure as Governor of the Bank of Greece (2008-2014), and Member of the Governing Council and the General Council of the European Central Bank, he managed the complete restructuring of the Greek banking system in the midst of the recent economic and financial crisis. During the same period, he has been Alternate Governor at IMF and member of BIS (Bank for International Settlements).
Previously, he was Vice-Chairman and Managing Director at Piraeus Bank (2006-2008), Chairman and CEO of Emporiki Bank (2004-2006) and member of the Executive Committee at Alpha Bank (1994-2004).
Further positions of Mr. Provopoulos include: General Manager at the Foundation for Economic & Industrial Research (1993-1997), Deputy Governor at the Bank of Greece (1990-1993), Chairman of the Council of Economic Experts at the Ministry of Economy and Finance (1989-1990).
George Provopoulos is a Greek national, holds a Doctorate in Economics and a Master of Arts in Economics from Essex University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Athens.
Anastassios Kallitsantsis

Anastassios Kallitsantsis, Managing Director of ELLAKTOR Group, is one of the founders and major shareholders of ELLAKTOR S.A., being an active member of the construction industry in Greece since 1976.
For almost 15 years, he had been Chairman of ELLAKTOR S.A., Chairman and CEO of EL.TECH. ANEMOS S.A. (development and operation of wind farms) and Chairman and CEO of REDS S.A. (real estate development), all member companies of ELLAKTOR Group.
Today, he remains a Member of the Board of Directors of REDS S.A.
He also served on the Executive Committee of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) since 2005, as a Secretary General between 2008-2010 and Vice President since May 2010. In addition, he is Member of the Board of Directors of SEV Business Council for Sustainable Development since its incorporation (2008), and he had been Chairman of the Board of Hellenic Association of Independent Power Producers since its establishment and until 2018.
Anastassios Kallitsantsis is a Greek national and a Civil Engineer with a degree from the National Technical University of Athens (1976).
Dimitrios Kallitsantsis

Dimitrios Kallitsantsis is one of the founders of ELLAKTOR S.A. He is also a founder and active member of various companies in the construction and energy industries, also involving public concessions projects.
From 1982 he served as Vice President at Elliniki Technodomiki S.A. In 1999 following the capital stock collaboration agreement between AKTOR S.A. and Elliniki Technodomiki S.A. he became Managing Director of AKTOR S.A. and remained in this role until November 2016. In parallel, following the transfer of the construction divisions of Elliniki Technodomiki S.A. and TEV S.A. to AKTOR S.A., he was appointed as Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of ELLAKTOR S.A.
During his tenure as Managing Director of AKTOR, having the responsibility of building projects, he completed emblematic projects such as the Olympic Stadium, the Olympic Village and the International Broadcasting Centre for the 2004 Olympic Games, the Athens Concert Hall, Acropolis Museum and the Costa Navarino Resort. He has also completed significant projects in the UAE, Oman and Qatar.
Dimitrios Kallitsantsis is a Greek national and an architect with a degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (1975).
Iordanis Aivazis

Iordanis Aivazis has worked at senior positions (General Manager, Chief Operating Officer, and Member of the Board) with various banks in Greece as well as in the industry with OTE S.A. (subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom), where he was a member of Deutsche Telekom’s European Management Board.
Furthermore, Iordanis has been a member of Board of Directors of various Greek listed companies.
Currently, he is a Chairman (non-executive) of HCL, an offshoot of Davidson Kempner and Bain Capital Credit – for the latter he serves as a Special Adviser for Greece. Iordanis is also a non-executive Director of Frigoglass S.A. and Regency Entertainment S.A.
Iordanis holds a B.A. in Economics from University of Athens and a Postgraduate Diploma in Economics and M.A. in Marketing and Finance from University of Lancaster. He speaks English and French.
Takis Doumanoglou

Takis Doumanoglou is a seasoned investment banker with more than 25 years of investment banking experience. He has held senior executive positions including CEO, in prestigious domestic investment banking houses (Alpha Finance, ETEVA, IBG). Takis has also worked on the borrowers’ side, which gave him the opportunity of a global exposure on both sides of credit.
During his career, he served on several venture capital investment committees and various Boards of Directors. His experience includes leading teams of professionals working on several sizeable privatization, corporate finance and M&A projects.
Takis has also served as a member of the Selection Panel and subsequently the Executive Board of the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund (HFSF), as an appointee of the Bank of Greece.
Takis is a Greek national and holds an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Science in Economics.
Michael Katounas

Michael Katounas is currently the Deputy CEO of QInvest LLC, one of the leading Middle Eastern investment groups based in Qatar.
He has more than 20 years of international experience having worked in London, Dubai, Doha, Amsterdam and Athens.
Prior to joining QInvest, Michael held positions at Credit Suisse, ABN Amro, Procter & Gamble and Shell Oil with experience in debt and equity principal investments as well as M&A, corporate finance and restructuring transactions. He has completed transactions with a total value of more than US$50bn throughout his career.
He currently holds a number of Board roles including on the Board of Directors of Panmure Gordon PLC, Intercat Hospitality LLC and PraxiaBank (ex. CrediCom). He also serves on the Board of Governors of Doha College.
Michael graduated with a Master of Science in International Accounting & Finance from the London School of Economics, is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a member of the UK Institute of Directors and a graduate of INSEAD’s International Directors Programme.
Alexios Komninos

Alexi Comninos has worked for Merrill Lynch International Private Banking Group (1994-1998), has set up the Private Banking Division for the National Bank of Greece and headed the department until 2002. He joined Marfin Egnatia Bank in 2002 as Group Director of Wealth Management & Private Banking and remained in this position until July 2008.
From July of 2008 until September of 2011 he was an executive member of the Board of Directors of HYGEIA Group, C.E.O. of MITERA S.A., and president of the Boards of various medical and commercial subsidiaries in Greece and abroad.
From September 2011 until May 2012 he was an executive officer of Marfin Investment Group.
Alexi Comninos was born in Athens in 1965. He holds a B.A. degree in Business Economics and in Organizational Behavior & Management from Brown University, an M.Sc. degree in Real Estate Development & Investment from New York University and an MBA degree from IMD.
Despina (Diana) Markaki

Diana Markaki has worked at international law firms and held corporate General Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel positions both in Greece and abroad.
Over the last few years she has been based in Switzerland, where she practiced international management.
During the period 2014-2017 she held a leadership position at the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), a project of significant geopolitical importance, as Head of Land Access and Approvals at the company’s headquarters in Switzerland.
Today she is Director at Gategroup, responsible for the group’s global real estate portfolio in 60 countries.
Diana served as a Programme Consultant at the United Nations Development Programme (UDP) in New York, as well as a member of the support team for the UN World Summit in 2005.
Diana graduated from National University of Athens School of Law and holds an LL.M. in International and European Law, with continuous education in the US.
Eleni Papaconstantinou

Eleni Papaconstantinou is a Partner of the leading law firm Papaconstantinou. She has extensive advisory and judicial experience in commercial, corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, and competition law. Eleni has successfully handled major complex and diverse transactions as well as large-scale litigations, including litigation before the Greek Supreme Court and the European Court of Justice.
Eleni has served as a member of clients’ Boards of Directors. Between 2004 and 2015 Eleni has been an independent member of the Board of Directors and member of the Audit and HR committees of S&B, an industrial minerals company then listed on the Athens Stock Exchange. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP).
In 2012 Eleni was a member of the expert committee of the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF). Since 2008 she has been a member of the investment committee of Alpha Taneo, a Venture Capital Fund managed by Alpha Ventures, a subsidiary of Alpha Bank.
Eleni is a Greek national and holds a first class honours degree from the London School of Economics, ranking top of her class, a Master’s Degree from Harvard Law School and a Doctorate (Grande Distinction) from Universite Libre de Bruxelles. She is a member of the Athens and New York Bar Associations. She speaks Greek, English, French and Spanish.
